rtChess - A Realtime Ray-Traced Chess Game
rtChess is still a work-in-progress, but it is advancing at a rapid rate.

Instructions for Game Download

Simply click on the zip file to begin downloading the game. Once download is complete, use winzip or another unzip program to extract the files. To run rtChess, just double click on the file rtChess.exe. Detailed game instructions are provided in the file help.html, which is included with the game. The help file features the rules of chess, and how to operate rtChess, as well as a description and picture of each, piece and how it can be moved.

Extract the program using "gzip -dc rtchess-1.0.1.tar.gz | tar xvf -".. Change into the rtchess directory, and run rtchess. Detailed game instructions are provided in the file help.html, which is included with the game. You must have [http://libsdl.org SDL] 1.2 installed in order to play.
More Information
Documentation is included in the download. One thing that should be mentioned is that after you start the game, you can get to the menu by pressing the spacebar.
