Robot project
A few years ago, back when I lived in Ann Arbor, I used to go to YAAARC meetings every month, and we'd swap robot ideas, stories, etc. I was involved with a FIRST robotics team at the time, and since moving away, I've been missing it.
A few months ago, I took my family to see a small robot competition that YAAARC was holding at the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum, and it brought back good memories, and a yearning to build something.
Alex (my 12 year old daughter) and I talked about it a bit, and she seemed interested in learning a bit about electronics, so we decided to build one together. I figured we could start with a small one at first, and if we both liked the experience, and it turned out well, then we'd build more.
This page will be an index of our efforts.
