Recently I've had a lot of inquiries about SDL_gui, and whether it will be continued, what features will it have, etc.

Rest assured, I've not abandoned it. Development has continued in a different direction, that's all. The current codebase in CVS is very much out of date. I've essentially done a complete rewrite which moves the backend code into 09erate modules. There is currently support for X11 and Win32, with planned support for SDL.

So the library probably won't be called SDL_gui soon, since it targets more than just SDL. I've not yet reached a point where the new code has gelled enough for me to be comfortable releasing it, and I've been kind of busy lately, and don't know when it will happen.

However, I would like to put the new code into a public CVS repository soon, so that interested people can have a peek.

If anyone has any suggestions on a new name for the library, I'm willing to listen...
